A deeper purpose

Our first intention with creating this product was to remove the need for the silly pads that come in our sports bras (they never worked, anyway).

However, after launching CAKES chic, we quickly started hearing from women going through reconstruction that “CAKES chic changed their lives.” We were blown away.

The stories from our inspiring customers facing breast cancer helped us realize the depth of our brand and the opportunity to help women through our solutions.

Through the Breast Cancer Research Foundation® (BCRF), we are funding the work of a researcher: Dr. Laura van ‘t Veer, PhD!

She is a renowned molecular biologist focusing her research on personalized medicine. Her mission is to identify biomarkers that show how patients respond to drugs, based on data from ongoing clinical trials. This information helps make real-time treatment decisions, ensuring patients get the most benefit from effective drugs while avoiding those that don't work.
